Privacy
Private by design, with local processing as the default.

Files stay on your device
FileLin processes supported files inside your browser. The app does not upload file contents, filenames, passwords, or finished outputs to a FileLin server.
No accounts or history
FileLin does not require an account and does not keep a history of your processing sessions. Closing or refreshing the page clears the active workflow.
Passwords
Passwords entered for PDF protection or unlocking are used only in browser memory for that action and are never intentionally stored.
Website requests
The hosting provider may keep standard technical request logs needed to deliver and secure the website, such as IP address, browser type, request time, and requested page. File contents are not part of those requests.
Cookies and analytics
The current version does not use advertising trackers, behavioral analytics, or marketing cookies. If that changes, this notice will be updated before the feature is introduced.
